More elaborate documentation will be forthcoming, but briefly:
The TrueType fonts on this page were created by me, inspired by typefaces found on 1960s typewriters and IBM mainframe line printers, after I was unable to find existing commercially developed digital versions of those typefaces. The fonts are freely available for non-commercial use. An attempt was made to define the font metrics so they would work on the Macintosh as well as on Windows, but since I don't have a Mac I couldn't verify how successful my attempt was.
For simplicity, I didn't try to come up with my own cute names for the fonts. They are listed according to the typewriter or line printer fonts that inspired them.
